Working Principle
The A1050 Liquid Phase Rust Tester evaluates the anti-rust properties of oils by immersing a polished steel specimen into a mixture of oil and distilled water under controlled temperature and stirring conditions.
During the test, the sample oil and water are placed into the test vessel. A standard steel specimen is suspended in the mixture while the system maintains the specified temperature and agitation speed. After the required testing period, the steel specimen is removed and visually examined for rust or corrosion marks.
