Working Principle
The A1035 Oil Particle Counter operates based on the light extinction (optical blockage) principle, which is widely used in high-precision particle analysis.
When the oil sample flows through the detection chamber, it passes through a focused laser beam. Particles present in the oil block or scatter the light, causing a reduction in light intensity received by the photodetector.
The system measures these changes in light intensity and converts them into electrical signals. These signals are then processed by the internal data system to determine:
- Particle size distribution
- Particle count per unit volume
- Cleanliness levels according to ISO 4406, NAS 1638, etc.
This method ensures high accuracy, repeatability, and reliability across a wide range of oil types and contamination levels.
